The Jeep Wrangler is not a model that changes radically from one version or generation to another, at least when talking about the production model. That said, Jeep likes to periodically develop concepts that can sometimes be quite eccentric, for example the Jeep Quicksand Concept.
Developed as part of the 51st edition of the Easter Jeep Safari, the Quicksand is part of a batch of five concepts specially developed for the event by Jeep. Every year, Jeep unveils concepts related to the Easter Safari, but this year’s collection is certainly the most impressive.
The Jeep Quicksand Concept is powered by a 392 HEMI eight-cylinder engine coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. It is fitted with 32-inch BFGoodrich tires upfront and 37-inchers in the rear.
As you can see in the following video, the Jeep Quicksand Concept emits a sound that Jeep and American muscle purists will immediately fall in love with.
Four other Jeep concepts
In addition to the Quicksand Concept, Jeep introduced the Grand One, a model inspired by the 1993 Jeep ZJ which will probably be the Jeep lover’s favorite concepts, especially as it also receives a HEMI V8 engine.
The Jeep Safari, as the name suggests, features a cockpit designed to get the most out of a family safari while the Jeep Trailpass aims to take the off-road capabilities of the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk up another notch.
Finally, the Jeep Switchback concept is equipped with parts and accessories from Mopar’s workshops to deliver unbeatable performance off the beaten track.
